About Me

I'm a mother of three adult children, two boys, and one girl.  A grandmother of six amazing kiddos, four girls and two boys. I love being a grandmother and they make me feel young and energetic. My grandkids are hilarious, and they come with some good stuff.

I'm a book lover and I've around 300 books around the house. I'm preparing my basement as a reading room.  I also love inspirational quotes, blogging, and Pinterest. My new hobbies are coloring adult books and decorating my happy planner.

I'm a coffee drinker and love popcorn, gummy bears, chocolate, and ice cream. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I decorated every corner of my home to look like Winter in Wonderland.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2008 and today I can call myself a survivor, cancer- free.  I'm also a Type 2 Diabetes and I've to watch what I eat.

I'm from Puerto Rico and I speak Spanish. I moved to North Dakota in 1996 and I work in one of the Elementary School kitchens. It's fun working at the school.

WELCOME to my BLOG and I'll Like to know what you think...

  1. Lovely to find out about you after you put a very encouraging response on my blog...
The grandchildren sure do give us a lot to write about ,but I sometimes feel that it's a bit of an invasion of privacy for them to be "shown" to the world. I would like to write about them in a more covert way, but haven't decided how yet. I'll get there

    1. My oldest granddaughter who is turning 12 next month wrote a book for a school competition. She won the first prize, also they printed and display her book in the school library for all to read. Her story was about how funny can grandparents could be and how at the end they turn to be aliens. It was funny with a twist of fiction. My point is I like to talk about them, but only what I think it should be told, not the private things. So go ahead tell their stories the funny things and the lovely ones. I think it would be okay.
